About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn stuff and sit by water and help people out and listen and stick my hands in some mud.

ABOUT ME

I travel everywhere I can on the bike I built named Ramona, and everywhere else on scrappy sensibilities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing right now because I'm about to go a little bonkers and travel the world while I write a book about girl-monsters, and man I could always use more pals to have a glass of wine or a meal or an adventure with. Especially if you're an artist of some kind!

I can't host people in Providence right now because I'm working with a studio apartment that I'm about to move out of, but I'd love to again one day! I've surfed a little. I always want to travel more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any music with a horn section. Nothing more sincere-sounding than a horn.

I love too many books. Especially digging Caroline Bergvall, Clarice Lispector, and Anais Nin these days.

"Daisies" is my favorite movie of all time. Oh, "Daisies." You wonderful weird thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of stuff I'm proud of, but the coolest thing I've done recently is explore La Petite Ceinture in Paris (the old abandoned railroad that circles the city). I went through a tunnel that scared the crap out of me. I'm pretty sure I felt the ghost of Paris in that tunnel.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm, like, an okay cook. I won't lie to you; I'm just okay. But I'm a professional illustrator and writer, and I can teach you how to quickly draw succulents! Surprisingly useful - hello, Christmas presents.

I love learning. Teach me anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Drawings! A lot of laughing! A helping hand! And probably some actual useful things, too, just let me know what you need, y'all.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, India, Mexico, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
