I'm a Filipino expatriate in Dubai, UAE since January 2015. I have a passion for travelling and visiting famous landmarks and places.
I go for nature trips over parties or night-life in new places.
I like having tea-time and sipping coffee (al-fresco) in new places / cities and just takes in the beauty of the place and watch people go about their daily lives.
I prefer the mountain resorts over beach resorts, although at times, i also like to go the beach, have some quiet time and think deep or reflect.

I love rainy days and cold weather. And with that, i consider myself as melancholic or melodramatic person, HAHAHA. Because, when it rains, i like to sit by the window and have a tea or coffee and read books or just simply have a Me-time.

My bucket list is always full and everyday I add a new place to the list. :) One time, I said to myself that, if I will get to visit Iceland - get to see and experience all its beauty to offer, God can take me, LOL!

I have always been interested in meeting new people like, befriend them, converse with them (virtually or in person) and have them teach me their language. I have great interest in learning different languages, no matter how slow I am at making it happen. At least so far, i know how each Russian letters are pronounced, and I believe that is a great start, right?

In person, i am not very talkative. I tend to be very quiet and shy. That's also one thing I am working out to be more aggressive in initiating conversations with other people.

so far, that's pretty much about me and my personality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to explore Couchsurfing, not because i have urgent plans of travelling, like... Travelling has always been in my plans every single day; but, mainly.... I just like to meet new people who i can share some common interests with. Maybe hear some of their wonderful stories of their travels to different places. And definitely get some insights on when best to visit places, what are the best things to do and or things to try in places that others have visited.

Interests

I'm interested in seeing and visiting famous landmarks. I am not so much of a fan on history and all its stories, but if you say, Ancient Ruins, places mentioned in the bible, Pyramids, Great wall of China, Hanging Gardens of Babylon --i'd say, what are we waiting for, let's go!!!

I am also interested in landscapes - maybe scenic spots of Lord of the rings, the great valleys in Georgian Military Highway, you know what i mean..

Also, ask me to tag along if you're going to see some famous structures -- Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Taj Mahal in India, Eiffel Tower in France -- Yay!!

Movies - chick-flick, drama, sci-fi, action, rom-com EXCEPT -- horror thriller films.. and it's not that i dont like, but I just cannot relate to Star Trek and Star Wars... sorry.. those geek movies are soo out of my league.
