ABOUT ME

After living in Chicago for the past seven years, I'm looking for a new adventure. My boyfriend and I are hoping to travel abroad for a few months before we settle down in a new city in the Midwest. I most recently worked as a journalist at The Associated Press, writing about all kinds of news. I'm passionate about music, photography, dancing, exploring, writing, and reading.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A few years ago, I lived in a spacious apartment and frequently hosted couchsurfers. I later moved into a smaller place that doesn't have much room for extra bodies, so it's been a while since I've hosted. But now I'm hoping to find out what it's like to be a couchsurfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been able to couchsurf yet, I've only hosted couchsurfers. But I've loved meeting new friends from across the globe!

Música, películas y libros

Music is one of my greatest passions. A few of my favorite bands are Umphrey's McGee, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd.

I tend to watch more TV shows than movies on Netflix, but some of my favorites are Almost Famous, Garden State, Big Lebowski, and Dazed & Confused.

My favorite genre of literature is fantasy/adventure. I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter and A Song of Ice & Fire series. I also love classic novels, like The Great Gatsby, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and The Stranger.

As a host, I loved showing couchsurfers around my city, so I would enjoy spending time with hosts in their city.
