ABOUT ME

A hard box to fill...I'm 23, graduating from University this year and leaving Manchester behind to live and work in Mazinales, Colombia for a year starting in July!I

I lived in Provence, France for 6 months during my gap year, an experience which gave me the taste for getting out on my own and seeing new places. I'm studying languages, French and Spanish, so that I can get around a bit more easily, and I'd love to learn Catalan, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic....the list goes on :)

I also spent 6 months studying in Toulouse, France and then in Santiago de Chile. I travelled a lot while in South America and am looking forward to seeing more of it in the next year.

I'm also a strong believer in going to new places meeting new people and learning how they do things, their philosophies on life and their cultural values. When in Rome....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met so many great people through couchsurfing, either via the site or at meetings. It made my time in both Toulouse and Chile brilliant, and I lived with Cousurfers in Santiago. When I have a permanent address I will put my couch on offer to anyone who wants it!

I'd also love to travel outside of Santiago and explore a little, so I'll be looking out for couches in the places I travel to and for people to point me in the right direction.

I would love to get involved in language exchanges with people who speak French or Spanish too, and would be happy to practice English with anybody who wants to learn :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No actual couchsurfing as of yet, but lots of meetings, meet-ups and parties with couch surfing friends! I have also hosted several times in Santiago.

People! Travelling, languages,music, music, music and more music. I will listen to anything once, but my favourites at the moment are Joanna Newsom, Cat Power,The Dodos, Justice, Digitalism, Kings of Leon, Kaki King....so many!I really enjoy dancing and going to gigs and concerts. I also love to cook and make dinner for my friends (usually with lots of wine ;) ) Ask me nicely and I might make you a traditional English sunday roastI like to walk and hike, especially in good company. In Manchester I love to go out on my bike and cycle round the city.
