I am a mid-career Engineering professional. I guess today, I'd be described as a third culture kid. I've lived in five different countries - United Kingdom, Netherlands, South Africa, Nigeria and Qatar. I've also had spells in Germany and Belgium.
I am educated to doctorate level and have a great career within the oil and gas industry. However, I've decided to take a sabbatical and travel both western Europe and South America. I shall do so in the coming months.
I have a love for extreme sports (mainly, biking and snowboarding) and philosophy. I am very opened-minded and happiest amongst happy people. I've known a lot of cultures in my life and my tolerance and understanding is naturally a reflection of that.
