ABOUT ME

I'm a California ex-pat going to school in upstate New York. I love to discover new things, new peolpe, new places, but I also like giving the familiar ones a second exploration too! I'm up for meeting all kinds of people from all over. I love languages and think it's the third best way to conect with someone (besides food and music). Some of my favorite places are museums, libraries and coffee shops and other music-y places. I'm outdoorsey at my leisure and I like to kayak/canoe. I love photography and handcrafts and musicccccc.

Interests

Music is my life blood and will alwaysss better my mood. Along with that, I dabble in photography and art. I knit , I ride bikes (when the brakes aren't sqeuaky). Sometimes I decoupage. Some recent projects include decoupaged shoes and a macoroni box. Other times, I just like hanging out with friends, getting coffee, going to a show, listening to music, or watching a film.

Music: Interpol, Air, Sigur Ros, The Lovemakers, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Knife, The Arcade Fire, some classical and most any Swedish music.

Movies: Comedies are my favorites usually, I'd rather laugh than cry. Dramedies??

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying up all night with someone I met the last night on a cruise. We talked all night, braving the wind and watched the sun rise as the boat docked the final time in the Honolulu harbor.
