I' m Brigita Gergolet. I live in a small village in Italy, close to the boarder with Slovenia. I' m a student of the University of Education in Koper (Slovenia). This year I' m going to get my degree, so I will officially be a primary school teacher.
I' m part of the Slovene minority in Italy; my father is Slovenian, my mother is Italian. So I perfectly speak Italian and Slovenian language. I've been studying english since the first class of elementary school until now, but I'm aware that I have to improve it. In september 2017 I started learn french with a private teacher and in february I also did a course of french (40 hours). I can understand almost everything, and I also speak (even if my pronounciation is not very good), but I'm going to work a lot on it.
I'm a very happy and sunny person - I took that from my mother. I love children, I love to meet people and learn all possible things. I grew up in a small village, and I was a scout, so I prefer living in contact with the nature, working with animals, walking on mountains. But of course, I can easily live even in big cities.
I play football and I love all kind of sports. When I was in secundary school I played chess competitively at a national level.
I really appreciate people who have a good sense of humour and can see the funny/good side of life.

I love to meet new people, travel, discover new places and cultures.
I want to see all the world, make new friendships, work in different countries... couchsurfing is giving to me the opportunity to realize my dreams. I want that my life will be a big adventure; as french would say: "mange la vie à pleines dents", and I think that people joining the community of couchsurfing are the right people (kind, open-minded), the ones I want to meet and live at least one chapter of my life with them.
