GOOD 2KNOW:

This account was originally Manu's account for her trip to Australia.

After we had done most of our trips together, especially long-distance ones, between 2010 and today, we established a joint "best-friend-account".

In recent years, however, I have increasingly used the account to travel with other friends and currently with my partner, Max.

In the meantime, my partner Max and I live together and have a guest bed, where we would now also like to host surfers :) Preferred couples or friends together ;)

ABOUT ME:

how I describe MYSELF: I am a curious and open-minded person; I am active, I love to do any kind of sport but especially Yoga, but what I would describe more as a concept of life. I love to discover new places, to learn and to experiment new things, and to be in the nature where I feel most alive.
I am thoughtful, I love to philosophise about god and the world;), to laugh and to spend my time with open-minded people like those who dont swim with the current ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a great way of exploring a country by also getting in contact with locals. So far all people I met through couchsurfing were great people and those I always would choose as friends.
Without couchsurfing my journeys hadn‘t been the same.. mostly it were these encounters which made the trip and what I am still keeping in mind and heart.

Interests

Yoga, being out in nature, survival stiff like outdoor cooking/sleeping.. travelling/ exploring, sport like running, swimming, hiking… good company/shared quality time, experimenting new things, fotography, leaening the guitar, animals, reading, cooking together.. laughing and loving ;)

Music: kind of everything, but especially music has ‘to catch‘ me and boost the given atmosphere
Books: at the moment I am reading a lot about yoga, connection between body and mind.. and things which help me to understand more about different influences on our quality of life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the pilgrim way ‚camino del norte’, horse riding in Vosta Rica underneath a sky full of fireflies and stars, working in the Amazonas rain forest, cooking at the bondfire next to the beach, sleeping in a hammock somewhere beautiful in nature, cycling through Tuskany, … and moreover: all of my couchsurfing experiences and the lovely people who became friends
