Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new member to CouchSurfing, so I am not sure how I participate. I hope to be doing some surfing in Europe this summer and once I get back to the States and get settled, I will definitely have a couch available for my fellow surfers. I think CS is a great idea to encourage people to break away from this elaborate vacation travel model and start to see the actual world where people live, sleep and eat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet. I will be in Italy in a few weeks and am looking forward to my introduction to the CS community. I will be in Milan at the end of May and in Roma for the final stage of the Giro d'Italia! If there are any Italian cycling fans in Rome, I'm comin' your way.

Interests

I spend most of my time studying, or trying to study. When I have time off, I am running out the door, going snowboarding in Canada or Climbing in Greece, backpacking in Death Valley. I tend to spend most holidays away from home because it is the best time to travel while in school, but when I am home, its back to business.
