ABOUT ME

I was born in Slovenia and I've lived here my whole life. I started traveling when I was very young (with parents and local gymnastics club). I was taught from an early age that you learn the most by seeing the world. So this is my philosophy: to travel the world, meet interesting people.

I like people a lot. So I chose to become a doctor, to help people. I'm in medical school right now and it was one of the best decisions I've made.

I also like animals a lot. I like music: I play the flute, I like going to concerts. I like nature: I enjoy swimming in the sea, the woods, the smell of nature. I like the internet: another way to explore the world (for lazy people). I like sports: I have a done a lot of sports, gymnastics, dance, tennis, running....

I'm outgoing and I like to party, but sometimes I also like to be alone. It really depends. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can be your guide for a day in Ljubljana or maybe have a drink with you if I am too busy with my school.
I've been a host to exchange students in the past and I have also been an exchange student in other countries. I've had only positive experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couchsurfing. I know a lot about it though since my friends have couchsurfed before. My sister is also a part of CS and has met a lot of people through CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: all kinds of music, from pop to opera! Madonna is my favorite pop artist and Mozart is my favorite composer. :)

MOVIES: Lars von Trier and Quentin Tarantino are my favorite directors, but I like all the movies that have a nice message. I enjoy watching YouTube a lot. My favorite you tubers are the vlogbrothers, Grace Helbig, Jenna Marbles, Hanna Hart, Rose and Rosie....

BOOKS: Beside to all the medical books I don't have much time to read. But I do enjoy reading. Now I can think of two books I read recently and I really liked: A thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Oh, and Harry Potter of course. I'm a Hufflepuff! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've broken a vertebra, survived and now I am even stronger!
I've been to Madonna's and Rolling Stones' concerts!!!
