About Me

to get more sleep, atm. and worldpeace :)

I'm a traveller: it's the journey, not the destination. Also a happy (and hopefuly temporary) unemployed, suspended my PhD in HIV research and went for a long-long trip to Africa, then spent a year in the UK, travelled through South America, now heading back to Africa again. I enjoy simplicity, love being in the middle of nowhere. I wanna go everywhere, wanna see and try everything. Except sports. Well, I'm crap of a dancer but a remarkable drinker:))

"I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free." -Kazantzakis' own epitaph
And try to take one step further every day, at least.
And women should not drive

Music, Movies, and Books

The wonderful Hungarian literature and poetry (I'm so biassed), existentialists, biographies, science, travel books. I enjoy watching movies and sicko series, listening to classical music and dark wave - I know, my world-view needs expanding

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Creatures from the inside (as a scientist, not satanist:); getting lost in the Sahara (twice); bungee jumping; watching the African thunderstorm coming towards and hit me me on the road; swimming with sea lions, penguins, turtles and sharks in Galapagos.
Ha, and once I had a royal flush in poker - statisticly the last one
