ABOUT ME

We are a married couple in our late twenties who love to travel and explore new places. Between us, we have visited or lived in many areas in Europe and North America, but we have not yet ventured to South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa, and are hoping to do so some day. We are open minded and love to meet people from different cultures. We are easy going and don't fuss or stress too much. We like the outdoors and being active. Although we like the ocassional party, we do not frequent the bar/club scene.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't take it with you, right? So, with that in mind, we try to live our life based on experiences with less focus on material things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are willing to host people here, but are also looking to visit some couches when traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have never couch surfed before officially, but have heard great stories from friends!

兴趣

We are cultural people and enjoy seeing theatre, art museums, dance, and music performances, but we are just as likely to be at a local hockey game having a beer. We enjoy cooking and eat in just as often as we eat out, although we do love trying new restaurants and different types of cuisine. In our neighborhood, there are so many beautiful green spaces that we love to visit during the evenings and weekends, so the city doesn't feel so grey and bleak. It's great to get outside and be near the water, especially on nice summer days!

We frequently watch movies in the evenings, mostly thrillers, and listen to a combination of indie, mainstream, pop rock, rock, and reggae music in both Finnish and English! There are way too many great books out there to name!

Visiting the ruined Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, Greece - on the rocky hill with the aqua blue sea behind it, it certaintly left me breathless!

Times Square in New York NY - I wouldn't say that it left me awestruck per say, but it was certainly an experience.

Scuba Diving in Israel - Seeing the amazing underwater world made an impression and left me with incredible memories!
