ABOUT ME

I am a twenty year old hostel worker looking to experience life in some big cities and explore their various scenes.
I'm also hoping to cycle to some less populated parts of the world, mainly the beautiful landscapes of asia.
Another ambition of mine is to take a full on road trip across America. I guess I should learn to drive!

PHILOSOPHY

#YOLO! haha no i'm only kidding, I just think life goes a lot smoother if you just relax, and its easier to relax if you always have a nice view.

I work in a Hostel, which is always open to weary adventurers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sadly I don't have any couchsurfing experience yet! every time i've been traveling i've sought out cheap youth hostels, But i've turned my sights to couchsurfing and hope to make the most of it.

Interests

I'm quite taken by bicycles in any nature haha, i love riding my road bike around the Dales, but i also go out on the streets on my Hybrid. So i'm always turning my head when a nice bike goes by.
Other interests would have to be music, i can't even function if i don't have a tune running through my head, and i tend to listen to records full of lyrical genius. Beasties boys, Pixies, Radiohead, Midnight marauders. I also listen to a lot of online mash up work by independent producers.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to books i'm always looking for a book i can just fall into, and not many books do this, I've got to say Master and margarita is a pretty big contender, but as it stands The Outsider by Camus is the great thing i've ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived for 11 days in the pyrenean foothills living on raisins and oats. It certainly was a strange experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very competent bike mechanic, after having to fix my own hundreds of times. this extends to my knowledge of the cycle culture. Very good with computers as i've studied computer science with programing.
i've been working 2 years in a Dales Hostel so i'm weathered in various tasks of living in the Dales, wood cutting, painting, cleaning, cooking.
I also practise Archery in my spare time and i'd love to discuss this hobby with someone.
