ABOUT ME

Lucky to have met and worked with people from all over the world - kept my life interesting while enabling me to show off my little part. Spend most of my spare time outdoors (swimming, hiking, at the beach) and I enjoy conversation on random topics. I like to hear and learn about all the amazing places I am yet to see in this wonderful world.

More recently (the past 3 years) I have been living the 'ski bum' life in Whistler, Canada - snowy mountain life is certainly different to growing up on the beach. Snowboarding is just as addictive as surfing!

PHILOSOPHY

1)If you must choose between two evils, choose the one you never tried before 2) Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious 3) Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognise a mistake when you make it again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hoping to share a bit of aussie culture with anyone that surfs my couch or who I visit while travelling. I am currently on an around the world adventure for a few years - interested in seeing/ experiencing and learning as much as possible on the way - meeting other CSers certainly helps me do this!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Initially had a few guests from my tour guiding work stay at my place for a few days from time to time - always good fun. Then found CS and have hosted ever since. Now surfing couches all around the world during my travels and have met many awesome people already.

兴趣

Anything outdoors, especially the ocean. Like to experience nature rather then just looking at it! A cold beer with interesting conversation on a sunny afternoon overlooking the beach - its hard to beat. Especially enjoy the random experiences, interactions and activities that travel always leads you to.

Mainstream movies and music. Don't read much, something I need to change. Listen to lots of Aussie bands as we have a pretty good local music scene. Recently saw the John Butler Trio at the World Ski & Snowboard Fest in Canada - wow!

Iguacu Falls is South America - simply spectacular.
Took a Taiwanese girl snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef one day - she had never been in the water in her life, needless to say it was probably the most spectacular thing she had ever seen.
Couchsurfed my way across the United States - so many great places to see and people to meet.
