ABOUT ME

Always up for adventure! Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and after finally finishing school my goal is to avoid getting a job immediately or going back to graduate school. I love new experiences and finding ways to try new things, especially when it comes to new places.

I am a strong advocate for spreading knowledge about climate change and the real issues we face in the future. Living sustainably and conservation are things I am very passionate about.

A defining thing in my life has been hockey, I grew up playing hockey in Fairbanks and was able to continue playing through college. It is one of my greatest loves and I was able to coach girls youth hockey in Fairbanks.

My boyfriend and I trying to be ski bums in Colorado but unfortunately chose the most expensive place, Eagle County! We are ski instructors part time at Beaver Creek.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined cs right before leaving Alaska to travel so wasn't able to host anyone but will be traveling all over and am excited to meet lots of new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a wonderful lady named Sue in Palo Alto during a wilderness first responder course at Stanford. She was wonderful and one of the nicest ladies I've met.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Thailand for 3 months to live and dive in Phuket and become a divemaster. Great experience and Thai people are so nice.
