HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am travelling full-time myself and therefore I cannot house anyone. I would like to meet up with locals and other travellers along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing but have participated in hospitalityclub and helpx for years.

兴趣

I love to travel of course. During my travels I love to do some hiking, going to interesting museums, go to a musical, concert (classic) or the theatre. I love to read and write, enjoy a good meal (with a glass of good red wine) and try to enjoy life as much as possible!

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: I loved "Departure" - a Japanese movie. I also love BBC series based on Jane Austen or similar books. Sure there are a lot of other movies - can't list all.

Music: A wide range including Linkin Park and Beethoven!

Books: I just re-read "A Woman in Berlin", which in my oppinion is a "must-read". I love books and used to read at least one per week.

I am so glad that I was able to travel - at least a bit. My favorites: The Iguazu waterfalls in Brazil (2004 - visiting Parguay and Uruguay), The McMichael Canadian Art Collection (2007 - my trip from Toronto to Vancouver), Kings Canyon (2010 - Australia: from Adelaide to Darwin)

I teach German for a living and sometimes English as well. I used to be a job counsellor before that.

For years I try to learn Spanish but I am an A1/A2 student. Tried my hands on other languages. I am always trying to learn something - not sure, what it will be tomorrow.
