I am a 27 year old female. I have recently moved to Australia to do my PhD study specializing in medical genetics. I am a little shy when I first meet people but quickly come out of my shell when I feel comfortable. I am generally very neat and tidy, I always clean up after myself and enjoy cooking or helping to prepare meals.

Between my MSc and my PhD, I have taken 18 months off in order to travel the world and experience 'being young'. I was a very diligent student throughout my academic career but, as a result, I felt like I missed out on a lot of experiences that are pivotal to being in your 20s. I am also looking to relocate from South Africa and am using this opportunity to get to see other countries with the possibility to move there in the near future. I am couchsurfing so that I can meet new people from around the world, make friends, share new and exciting experiences and learn about different cultures.
