About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find some place I never want to leave

ABOUT ME

I'm a petite philosopher, anthropologist, photographer, and crazy cat lady. I consider myself very thoughtful and open to diverse perspectives around the world. I think it's important to be a critical witness of the world's injustices and of the world's great beauty--you can help make it a better place and enjoy it deeply too.

PHILOSOPHY

Get caught up in the little things--the different hues of pigeons, the white lights cities put up in the winter, one extremely good dessert--this is where life lies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Totally new to couchsurfing, although I did host a couchsurfer once without signing up for it. I want to meet cool people in other parts of the world so they can show me their world.

Teach, Learn, Share

People see what they want to see and what they already know. What they choose to read buttresses their pre-existing worldview and prejudices. Maybe traveling the world and meeting people radically different than yourself can not only expand your perspective, but promote empathy and togetherness. I think it's important to challenge your ideas all the time--perhaps couchsurfing is a great way to do that.
