ABOUT ME

Currently a teacher in Houston, TX, loving my job and my students. When I'm not with my kiddos, I love experiencing new things and meeting interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I from a small town in the South, where people usually go to college in the same place, marry in the same place, live in the same place, have kids in the same place, grow old in the same place, and die in the same place.

I don't want to be a 'same place' kind of person.

I love sharing my humor, culture, and opinions with my hosts and soon to be guests. I think it is great getting to know someone on a personal level so quickly and sharing ideas with so many people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed here in the US, and I've never hosted, so I'm looking forward to some new experiences! I'm excited to meet some amazing hosts and host some amazing surfers in Houston when I return!

Interests

I love penguins. I would watch them for literally hours at a time. I love to read, but I never seem to have the time. Guilty pleasure is really awful TV programming. I'm so ashamed of this that I can't even list the shows in here. :)
