Dreaming about my glorious future as a well known author and a creater of a new form of history museums, yet loving my everyday life and enjoying every minute of it!

ABOUT ME

Hej there!
I am:
- Britta, 24 years old,
- openminded, talkactive but still a good listener
- waiting to get to know you, who is reading this right now!
- a true AFSer (American Field Service, the exchange organisation I went to Finland with in 2008/2009, and volunteering for them)
- a lover of good books, museums, music, history, discussions about politics and social issues
- a fan of wandering about in rain or sunshine together with friends or just on my own, thinking
- someone who loves to sit around in bars having drinks with some friends
- also someone who likes to party with friends (best to shitty music like Backstreet Boys, Abba and such!)
- dreaming of one day being the owner of a vintage car and a summer house in Denmark or Finland
- a fan of parlour and card games
- hoping to learn a good deal of languages and make yet more cultures a second home

PHILOSOPHY

There is nothing as stupid as not to listen to other people´s stories and their experiences, and there is nothing better than never giving up hope and completely trust in that you will make you way through life however hard it sometimes might seem!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I just think its a great idea, it's as simple as that!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I like: basically everything. Ranging from old music (classical, the 1920th/30th) to charts and latin music, metal, rock...my favourite music is Sabaton (metal), Runrig (Scottish Folk), Chris de Burgh (whatever he is, amazing anyway).

Movies I like: Pride and Predjudice and generally movies of that kind; the Avengers Universe; Disney movies (especially Tangled); When Harry met Sally; Love Actually, also I looove the BBC Sherlock, Game of Thrones and sometimes Doctor Who

Books I like: Harry Potter (my childhood!), crime fiction like Elizabeth George or more humouristic ones, good fantasy novels (not them with dragons, magic and "the chosen ones", rather like The Name of the Wind), history novels
