About Me
ABOUT ME
The basics: Dutch-American, born in Australia and lived there for a few years but don't have much memory beyond the backyard. Moved to Taiwan and the Hong Kong soon after, and grew up in HK - an incredible city - go if you can! Studied Political Science for my BA in the United States and now have wandered happily if a bit lost confused towards the Netherlands to do a MA in Archaeology, and now stuck on 'heritage studies' and looking to work with an NGO or Unesco type organisation.
Pretty undirected in life, but excited by most anything, love running around and meeting new people, exploring new places, and if possible returning too. Have stopped allowing the usually existential crisis of life and decisions, choosing instead to just enjoy youth and choices and making the most of every day.
Newest developments - I now live on a farm and ride a bike all around and throw dinner parties constantly with the random bizarre friends who are my roommates.
Want to see a fabulous opera some day, love all live music, love letting loose and dancing, lots of philosophizing and random over-analysis with friends (sigh) and then you realise life is pretty funny and happy most days...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only recently introduced to couchsurfing through my chance random incredible room-mate in Leiden (Veronica)... was a bit dubious to start with, sounds almost too good to be true, but experience has since affirmed any doubts.
