At the moment I live life like a Amsterdam Clark Kent / Superwoman. During the weekdays I teach at the UvA with my glasses on, while two nights a week I throw my glasses in the corner and go to work at a nightbar.
I love the combination of these two "lifestyles" as it gives me the chance to further develop my knowledge on the field of Neurobiology and teaching, while as a bartender I can enjoy Amsterdam's crazy nightlife and the interesting characters it brings. So whatever side appeals more to you, I'm sure we have lots to talk about!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly hosted people here in Amsterdam, but also surfed in Antwerp, Berlin and Mongolia. Best way of traveling, period.
I've studied Neurobiology. So what happens in the brain while we function like we do. Definitely don't mind talking about these kinds of subjects, but don't think all I do is think about how I'm thinking.. ;)
Besides talking about brains I love traveling (who doesn't), hanging out with friends (who doesn't), dancing, walking my dog, cheese, painting, talking to strangers, and looking at trees.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My travels through south-east asia after graduating from high school was one of the best decisions ever. And my travels through Russia and Mongolia and this year to Central-America were an amazing addition to my travel experience.
