ABOUT ME

I am a creative, open-minded, perceptive person. I am often calm and quiet, though I also like to have fun and go dancing!
I've been told I'm a very curious person (I like to ask questions and learn new things).
I'm an artist, and while I love art I like to experience and other cultural things too (music, architecture, games, etc)

I love to play basketball and other sports too

I love nature

Camping and canoeing in the Boundary Waters, in northern Minnesota. It is an escape to nature - to live among the woods and the water. I would recommend anyone to try it!

PHILOSOPHY

I seek to understand and learn about new things, and to respond by making new things. Meeting new people and experiencing new cultures opens up new worlds for me, new ideas and new ways of understanding and living in the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to couchsurfing, so I'm looking for more ways to participate!

I wish more people traveled to Minneapolis so I could host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was last year in Portland, I got along well with my host and when she heard I was traveling in Europe later that summer she invited me to spend a couple nights with her in Berlin! She had moved there after graduating from school in Portland, and she showed me all around the city. In Minneapolis, the art space that I started with some friends hosted several couchsurfers from around the world

Interests

I love to learn and see new things. I love to experience art, architecture, design, and film from new cultures.
I also like to meet new people and have interesting conversations, to learn about their background and experiences.
I like to be outdoors, to play basketball or go hiking and swimming
I really love to bike too!

Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Brave New Worlds, more (I love to read but I just don't read enough!)

I love films too, but I don't seen enough! I want to see more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

spending time in the Boundary Waters, trying to surf in Hawaii, hiking to waterfalls in Yosemite National Park, geysers at Yellowstone National Park

I have more to learn than to teach...but I like to teach people about contemporary art maybe. Just sharing experiences is important
