Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just recently got involved with CS after learning about it from a coworker. I think this website is one of the most exciting and inspiring ideas that I have come across in quite awhile. I can't wait to be more involved with it. I am interested in surfing. It is very hard for me to host as I live with four roommates at the moment and I have no air conditioning, which is fun for no one. I hope to one day though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a college student, so I've slept on quite a few couches in my days.

Interests

I really love the art of storytelling in all its forms. From written text to video and film to radio. I'm interested in environmental and sustainability issues, particularly alternative sources of fuel and energy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied journalism in undergrad, so I've developed some writing skills as well videography, marketing, web design. I've employed by a non-profit that advocates for alternative fuels so I've got some knowledge of that as well. On the side, I study a lot about string theory because I find it to be the most captivating theory. I got into it after reading The Elegant Universe by Briane Greene. I can't do the math behind it but know the basic theory and would love to discuss.

I would like to learn to cook! I'm admittedly terrible at it. Also, to surf. That would be amazing.
