My name is Brodie and I'm 22 years old. I'm from the north of England, close to Newcastle and have been working as a trainee chef for the last year and a half.

I am a really relaxed kind of person but yet occasionally i do love a good party and am always up for hard work too :)

I think meeting people is one of the most amazing things in life, it never is the same each time, it is exciting and I love it.

I'm on couchsurfing because I love to meet people, I very rarely meet anyone I don't get on well with :) I'm travelling through a small section of South America, and I am now nearly 3 months into my trip and any opportunities to stay, meet people to get a better understanding of the area which I'm in would be so greatly appreciated.

Music- I like many kinds of music. Some of my favourite things are like funk, rock, drum and bass, some dance music.. And more of course.

Movies- any decent film that isn't horror! =P

Books- anything gripping and fast paced.
I like the kind of books you end up reading in a couple of days.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Me and 2 of my closest friends hitch hiked up nearly 2000km from Lima, Peru to Canoa, Ecuador. It was really such an exciting experience just sleeping where we were dropped off on roadsides and getting lifts with some awesome and some crazy people. Some great times!

I wouldn't say I could teach people too much, I am only 22! :) But maybe a little about cooking, maybe a little about what it's like to be from England and culture/subculture there.. or about English language perhaps..
I would like to begin to learn a lot more Spanish whilst I am here as I only know the words I have picked up speaking to people over this time travelling, and also to broaden my knowledge about food all over the world would be a great bonus :)
