I'm still trying to wrap my brain around this crazy world, which is mission enough for a lifetime.

ABOUT ME

I live in Utrecht with my husband, Maarten, and two cats. I spend my time working, writing, singing making music, watching movies, reading books, going to concerts, the occasional art exhibition.
I'm easygoing, open minded, opinionated and I guess creative (but isn't everyone creative????). Curious about other people, cultures and cuisine!

PHILOSOPHY

... :-s still figuring that out. But some things:

I prefer evolution to revolution.
Intelligence is based on empathie and understanding, not education.
No matter what culture, country, conflict or religion; people will always just want to live!
Oh and of course: BE REAL!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm also at Hospitality Club, we've had loads of people over, and never a horrible experience (so far). In Israel and the Palestinian territories we've stayed with friends, friends of friends and one guy through hospitality club. It was the best way to get to know a country from all its different points of view.

Generally I like people who are easily comfortable in a strangers household which is not always easy I know. But one time we had some people who were so incredibly shy, they didn't even greet me! So please, when you come over, feel more than free to come say hello.
