About Me

CURRENT MISSION

the same thing we do every night... try to take over the world!

ABOUT ME

I currently live in Cambridge, MA (USA), because I'm studying a masters degree in urban planning at MIT. I Lived in Mexico City all my life, and i LOVE it. I lived in London for one year when i was a child, I also took a year off after highschool, and studied one semester in Buenos Aires during college.
I studied Economics and Political Science at ITAM in Mexico and wrote my thesis on property tax collection (fascinating subject!).
Me parents are artists, I have an older sister and we all get along really well...

Im interested in almost anything, a huge football ("soccer")fan (although not the annoying type), and passionate about traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep an open mind, there is always something you can learn about someone. Although I rationalize things a lot, i think people should follow their gutt (that is probably not the correct way to say it).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe CS is one of those ways technology is actually making the world better, bringing people and cultures together. I have stayed a couple of places and hosted a couple of people... so far only good experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with Jonathan in Jerusalem and Giorgios in Athens, and it was great!
Also, I have hosted two colombians, a mexican, two israelis, one english and one rumanian/canadian.

Interests

Almost anything, and I try to be informed about random things. Cities and urbanism, economic and political issues from Mexico and abroad, travels, culture (books, movies, art, etc), football, are probably what occupies my mind most of the day

Music, Movies, and Books

pffff, hard!
music-wise im currently into what I call nice, tranquil music: cat power, XX, devendra banhart, sigur ros, andrew bird, elliot smith, etc., but I also enjoy jazz, classical music and when the occasion merits, some daft punk, justice, radiohead, etc etc etc etc etc
books and movies is also hard (and long) to describe!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most recent is skydiving... the most unique and exhilirating experience Ive had in a while! (and have had it twice now)... I do have a good list of countries visited, if that counts. scubadiving.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only thing im probably really really good at is avocados. I think I do know Mexico City and Mexico in general enough to talk about travel, politics, etc. besides that, id be more than happy to have discussion on almost any topic, whether im the teacher or student!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Jordan, Nepal

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Mexico, United Kingdom
