Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the CS community I like to participate in the small ways. Offering what resources I can spare the wanderers of this world.

Interests

I walk really slow, and ride my bike really fast.
Sometimes i am reading 3 or 4 books at once and they all sort of meld together to form kind of a puddle of alternate reality. I spend most of my time daydreaming, or being disappointed that my Utopian idealistic fantasies are usually just that.
I will always be interested in pretty much any adventure, but i also really like a cup of coffee or a chill beer in the summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jerzy kosinski, Haruki Murakami, Henri Cherrier, Jose Saramago, Philip Roth, Milan Kundera, David Mitchell, Tom Robins, James Baldwin, Hemingway, Larry McMurtry, jane Yolen....so many. These authors have changed my life. I also read lots of science fiction, and sometimes non fiction if it's really good....

Music...Good music, you know it when you hear it... pretty much everything. ragtime lately, mixed up with some more contemporary indie, stuff.
kickball, loose marbles, lake, tiny hawks, little wings why are we building such a big ship, clara clara, of montreal, deerhoof.... bands from Olympia Washington, new Orleans, Marseilles or Montreal are basically always awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sometimes, or every day, I see a small detail, a tiny piece of a building or space, or something made very well and I get lost in considering the moment of it's creation.
Who is the person who is responsible? And why did they make this thing?
I don't want to take these small things for granted.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United States
