Hello, I'm Brooke! I'm from Vancouver, Canada but currently living in the small ski town of Rossland and enjoying a slower life pace and an active outdoor lifestyle. In the winters you can find me skiing on the slopes of Red Mountain while in the summer catch up with me on the Kootenay mountain bike trails. In between I love to travel, experience different cultures and meet new people from around the world.

While I'm new to couchsurfing, but I can guarantee you a clean apartment, a hassle-free and low maintenance visit, and an awesome time hanging out. While hosting, I do work full time but would love to provide you with a wonderful experience while staying in Rossland!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love meeting new people from all over the world. I want to experience each place with friends at my side, and that means meeting as many new people as I can. I am not just looking for a place to stay - I hope to meet people, experience the sights from a local's point of view, and share some adventures. What better way to get to know a place than through its people?

Interests

Skiing in the winter and Mountain Biking in the summer are my primary passions but there is nothing better than cooking up a good meal and having a glass of wine to enjoy among friends. I am always looking to get out and try something new! My love of travel comes from a place of curiosity and a desire to learn ... good conversation among new friends and fresh perspectives are always welcome!
