To backpack through Hawaii and Indonesia for the next two months

ABOUT ME

It's kind of hard to sum me up in just a few sentences. But the best way to do it...I'm simply an enigma.

A Few Fun Facts About Me:
-I graduated with my BA after only three years (at the ripe old age of 20) with a degree in English Literature.
-I'm 5'3, so you can't see me in crowds...but you are guaranteed to always be able to hear me.
-I'm OBSESSED with Lord of the Rings (books and movies).
-I love to read and write whenever possible
-I'm determined to use every minute of this life I have to live to the fullest.

But why I joined this site? Because after graduating in 3 years (which I had no intention of doing) I decided to take my life savings and back pack through the coast of Asia and Oceania by myself. So I did it. For two months I traveled through Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brisbane, Cairns, Auckland, Taupo, Matamata, National Park, Wellington, Franz Josef, and Queenstown. It changed my life forever. And starting on July 10th, 2012, I sold everything I own (cars, computers, furniture) and packed a backpack to travel the world for the next few years.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted for some people back in Tennessee. Each one was a fantastic experience and way to meet new people...I'm so happy that those friendships I made will last forever. But now it's time for me to start backpacking the world and playing the couch-surfer role!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted one gentleman from India for a few days, one from New York, and two from Perth, Australia. Made such lasting friendships!

Books, writing, photography...anything art. I'm fascinated by foreign cultures and languages. Oh, and Lord of the Rings of course.

I love all music, though country is my least favorite. I'm from Tennessee so I've been surrounded by it for 22 years now. Movies...I'm an action flick kind of girl. I generally pass when it comes to chick-flicks. And books...you name it, I'm guaranteed to love it :]
