I am very outgoing, and interested in the world and everyone around me. I love people. I love meeting new people and learning about all the different cultures and the similarities and differences in the ways people live their lives, and what makes them happy! I am always looking for new places, people and experiences to learn and grow from.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the power of positive thinking, the law of attraction, and that life is what we make it. The world is my oyster, and has so much more to offer than could ever be obtained.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By being in the world. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer any support with a couch :( as I am living with a host family, but I'm always looking for a good conversation and new friends. Who doesn't love coffee?

I love being outdoors and active. I love to snowboard, hike, fish, climb, camp, and scuba dive. I love trying new things, and am kind of an adrenaline junky.
I also love to read, study and learn. Education is very important to me, but active learning from daily life is what I value most right now.

I love books. Jack Kerouac, Kurt Vonnegut are amazing authors.
I also love poetry, and music of all sorts.
I like movies that make you think.

I love any form of art that draws a physical reaction: a piece of writing you can feel on your skin, music that makes your hair stand on end, a movie that makes you jump out of your seat, or a piece of artwork that moves you..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first time I took a breath under water blew my mind. Scuba diving lets you take the time to just be in a moment while experiencing the completely inhuman phenomena of breathing underwater! (also the closest thing I've been to being in outer space, weightless)
I also think of snowboarding, dropping cliffs into powder, hitting kickers, or going full speed down an icy run. It takes my breath away every time.
Every time I reach the peak of any mountain, I am left in awe. I love how far I can see from a mountain peak in every direction--usually with a city below me on one side and mountain ranges stretching as far as I can see on the other. The best sights are the ones away from the cities, so the light pollution doesn't drown out the stars.
I am also awed by busy cities, so full of people and cars and businesses, always moving... It is so crazy to me just how many people there are out there, living their own unique and indivual lives!
