ABOUT ME

I love to travel, I have been to New Zealand when I was sixteen, then went to Germany for a year as an exchange student. Which is how I learned German and can now speak fluently! What can I say? I enjoy adventure! I also have horses and live on my families farm surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains. I enjoy wine, trying new foods, meeting new people. I am coming to New Zealand to explore the possibility of relocating. Big dream, so now it's time to make my move! Someday I would like to own a cafe/pub, maybe write a book!

PHILOSOPHY

"No matter what happens to you in life, it can work for you, or against you, and it's always your choice which it will be." The headmaster at my mom's school told her that when she was seventeen, these words have carried her, then our family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be surfing while I am in New Zealand, however I do have a "Sleepout" or studio that I am thinking about putting out there for other surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had one yet, but I have a friend who has done this a lot, and she has met some amazing people!

I enjoy just about all types of music except for Country (There are a few exceptions) Rap, Heavy Metal, and R&B, Books, well, lets see, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Game of Thrones, Discovery of Witches, Jefferson's vines, Springs Awakening, Hunger Games, Tons of German books that I don't have the titles to right in front of me!

One year we had twenty four baby bats fall down our Chimney, and my mom and I nursed them, and were able to rehab them to the point that they were able to be released. It was amazing to see such wonderful creatures be so small and dependent!

I can speak fluent German, I would be happy to help someone with their German or even teach them some German! I can also help with Social Media Marketing for personal use or for businesses, and I can also help with horses. I would love to learn as much as I can about opportunities in New Zealand!
