CURRENT MISSION

Right now, to get an understanding of new cultures, form and grow in new relationships, and help where the help's needed by volunteering while absorbing the positive part of every experience I come across.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old girl who loves to learn anything new. I'm a hands on type of person so for me going and experiencing a new place or thing is my ideal situation. I have a passion for getting an authentic (real, not a resort version) understanding of cultures other than my own. I also have a passion to help, so volunteering is something that's been put on my heart as well. I always knew this about myself, but these passions grew significantly after I went on my first volunteer trip to Jamaica last year and stayed about four times longer than I was supposed to. Then decided to come home and flipped my life around so that I was able to spend some time exploring/learning (outside of my college textbooks). ; )

Likes: The beach (anything on or near the water including fishing, crabbing, boating, walking the beach, jet skiing) sun, laughter, all music, exercising, cooking, smiles, anything for a thrill, campfires, camping, traveling, putting my hand out the window when the car's driving fast, meeting new people and growing in relationships with them, also growing stronger in old one's, animals (my doggies), accomplishing a challenge, and of course my three main things are Family, friends, and as I've said experiencing/learning anything new. Truly, I'm down for nearly anything.. so lets go!

I'm going to be going back to school next fall to be in the medical field and would like to take advantage of this year to go to the places I may not have the opportunity to later in life (or as easily) and to get a worldly education that my university won't be able to give me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've so far...

Helped out in some of the communities I've surfed in, made dishes from home or other places I've traveled, share stories, bring a positive energy, and try my best to leave you with a wonderful and genuine experience that you're happy you decided to have.

In the future I'd like to host people and show them the amazing Seattle or wherever in the world I may be living at the time. haha. Also, I'll of course be continuing with what I've done it the past.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have all been awesome! I did it through most of East Africa, which was really awesome! I'd love to keep it going!

Музыка, кино и книги

Movies- Everything.. old, really old, comedy, girly one's, action, thrillers, adventure, children’s movies, etc. Two of my favorites that come to mind are The Notebook and The Fighter.

Music- I'm serious when I say everything! Currently on my iPod there's country, rock(old, older, oldest, new, alternative, 80's, etc.) dance, electronic, reggae, dancehall, hip hop (old, underground, new), pop of all sorts, Turkish, other European country artists, and the list keeps going, Christmas (my favorite because it makes me the happiest), classical, jazz, oldies...

I love listening to music and what I listen to varies drastically on my mood or what I'm doing .

My favorite book is the Notebook, but I love books that educate you as well. For example spiritual books are one of my favorites or one's that help you to learn new languages.
