I live with my partner and our adorable cat, Peppercorn, outside of Boulder Colorado. It's beautiful here, and there is so much to explore. I enjoy being outside hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, biking, backcountry skiing, and canoeing. I also enjoy cooking and dancing, and of course meeting new people from all walks of life.

My travels have shaped me as an individual and have made me a much more passionate, independent, and curious human being. I enjoy talking to people and learning about their lifestyle. I love learning and am open to new experiences, adventures, and people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was younger I exclusively travelled by couch surfing, WWOOFing, and another platform called warm showers for cycle tourists. I have met so many kind, generous, and amazing humans on my travels, and I have also hosted a handful of people when I had the space to do so in college until one of our couch surfers moved in permanently as a housemate. Then we didn't have any spare couches or rooms! After college I mainly travelled, and WAS the couch surfer until I moved into a co-op in my late twenties and sadly did not have the ability to host. However, now that my partner have our own space and we're gearing up to travel again, I decided to re-activate my account and give it a go.

Music, Movies, and Books

This question feels too hard! I enjoy watching the occasional movie and t.v show with my partner. I have really gotten away from listening to music and seeing shows, but I hope to get back into it soon. I read a ridiculous amount of therapy books for my job, and oddly really enjoy it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook for people, and recipe swap. I also really enjoy taking people outside to connect with nature and explore. I travel to learn more about different people and cultures, and really enjoy living or staying for an extended amount of time to really feel emersed in another country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a spare bedroom in our townhouse, and of course would offer a shower, towels, sheets etc. Depending on the day, happy to share food or cook meals for surfers. We have an adorable cat that loves pets, lots of books, please use our kitchen, and happy to provide resources for local adventures.
