ABOUT ME

I am a fun lady who is always trying to expand my horizons. Working on new, creative things to do. This year white water rafting is on my to do list as well as perform a public pole dance (have pole but a super beginner). Accomplished the white water rafting. Did a very sad public pole dance on a ferry off the Isla Mujeres . Need to do a much better one this year! Also learned to scuba dive in Cozumel in December...Loved it. Will be doing more. Always looking to learn something new or try something crazy. Can't wait to meet more people from all around this wonderful world we live on.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Can't wait to host someone. May be hard to do in Sioux City, IA but still looking forward to it. Been putting feelers out for the surfing bit and although it hasn't panned out yet I have met a few people on the site. Did do some hostel surfing in Mexico in December and loved meeting and talking to all the new friends. Look forward to meeting more people however it comes about.

It's been a few years. Have hosted quite a few people. Some are a little put off by my neighborhood or home. I am always working on something so my house is often cluttered...If you want a 5 star experience please go to a hotel. I have had tons of fun with several of my surfers though. Painted, one massage, listened to music, went to a movie. It has been a good few years. Going to take a break for a while as I am way to busy to host right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. My son did some in Australia though.

Interests

Interested in art, physical expression, having a good time. Love stimulating conversation and reading. Like to watch movies and see projects completed. Tend to do too many things at once. New hot button for me is travel and vacation. Learning to go easier in life, not work so hard.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love most of these except head banger music, documentaries or boring stuff, and burnt out on romance books unless it is of the paranormal type. Want to start a drum circle. Don't like scary movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Malaysia for 12 days. Went Parasailing. White water rafting with my son and his girlfriend and some college friends was fabulous in Oct. and then traveling to Mexico for two weeks on my own just meeting people and learning to scuba dive were phenomenal.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to share anything I know. I can do most carpentry, plumbing etc. I like working with concrete and clay. I paint with all types of mediums. Working on belly dance, drumming, pole dance, and yoga. I am a massage therapist and face/body painter. Well read and converse about most things except politics and religion. All about healthy eating although I blow it a lot.

Just became a vegan a few months ago but still a junk food vegan. Hoping to clean up the foods in 2018. I do not want to give free massages to couch surfers but willing to trade with someone if not too tired or do for payment. NOT a sex worker so young guys thinking that's what I am please go somewhere else.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very fun loving and easy going. I will try most things. Love to see new things and share stories. I have done many interesting things and planning on doing many more. I can offer massages and facepainting (for kids or adults). Face and Body Painting IS free if you are interested though as I love to do it and can always use more practice.
