ABOUT ME

I love meeting and talking to people from different cultures and with different life experiences so I thought this would be a good place to start!
I am from Michigan but am currently living in Bundang, South Korea--if any surfers in this area ever want to get together for coffee/dinner/games, send me a message!

I enjoy hiking or spending the day indoors watching movies. I love playing board or card games with a group of people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the whole couchsurfing experience so I haven't participated a lot. I would love to meet new people though! I am always willing to host if I am able!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't "officially" surfed myself, although I have been rescued a few times with a place to crash for the night by lovely csers. :)

I have hosted a few times and hope to be able to host more in the future!

I really like movies and I really like reading books. To list them would take too long. As for music, I like Tom Waits, Keren Ann, Modest Mouse, Guster, and music similar to them.

I have recently finished "Pillars of the earth" and "World without end." I can't emphasize how much I loved both of those books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of my favorite moments occurred about a year ago. I was on a tiny island off the coast of South Korea. It was 3 am and I was alone taking a walk along the shore. I came to a pier and just sat gazing up at the stars. They were so clear and beautiful that night with the sound of the waves lapping against the wood to provide music for the moment.
