PHILOSOPHY

I have spent a lot of time in solitude both here in Alaska and in the South Pacific. Part of the reason for this has been to enjoy my individual connection with nature. This personal journey has allowed for contemplation and inner awareness. I am now in the phase of my journey where I am slowly realizing my place within a community and how I can contribute in my own creative way to other people - both friends and people who I have only just met - as well as to the community as a whole.

Breathing, cabins in the woods, appreciating the wilderness, skiing, running, hiking, backpacking, beachcombing, reading, woodstoves, swimming, sincerity, meditation, watching the waves across and endless ocean, meeting new people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived a subsistence-based lifestyle on a remote tiny island in the South Pacific that had a village of 20 people. The most powerful moments were: swimming and watching a shark or a turtle swim by, watching storms drift across the ocean horizon as sun rays try to break through the clouds, playing with 1 year old baby Momo (the son of the couple who I ate my meals with).

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the violin and have run a 100-mile race. I'm a thinker and enjoy philosophical and/or spiritual discussion.
