ABOUT ME

Foreward: I often work out of town.

I have been told I'm complex. I am Brooklyn.
My favorite animal is a sea turtle.
I enjoy listening to long grass in the wind, and crickets.
I am endearingly awkward.
I was vegan for almost 10 years, but now I eat organic/local/free range meat. I have 5 chickens and 1 cat. I like animals. I play soccer, indoor and outdoor. In the middle of college, I quit my job to travel around the world for 6 months, it was amazing. I am outspoken but polite. I am clean. I am a burner. I love adventure and want to travel around the world. I want to experience as many cultures as I can. I have been to 26 countries, 6 continents. I took a job in Boulder, CO after grad school, but moved back to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family. Being an aunt has been very fun. I now work at an environmental consulting firm; remediation, stormwater, industrial wastewater.

Some of my favorite books are the Ender series, Ready Player One, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Movies/tv: Momento, Inception, Scanner Darkly, Billy Madison, BSG, Tank Girl, Death At a Funeral, anything with Joseph Gordon Leavitt or Heath Ledger.

I got to pet a cheetah a couple years ago, it was purring.
And I swam with penguins in the Galapagos.
