Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To dance... anywhere I can and to support others in pursuing their goals
ABOUT ME
I'll be updating this more in a bit... but a few things about me: I'm a dancer and love to help other people pursue their dreams and goals. My favorite color is red, Vanilla Rasberry Swirl frozen yogurt is my ultimate comfort food, and I tend to say 'slash' instead of using 'or' (i.e. "this 'slash' that").
PHILOSOPHY
Don't just chase dreams, remember to actually live them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just saw 'The Road' with Viggo Mortenson, based on the Cormac McCarthy (sp) book. Absolutely breathtaking, heartbreaking, and inspiring.
Due to a massive influx of pop music in my life, I typically listen to trendy music . However, my escape and bliss comes from artists such as David Grohl, Eric Clapton, and James Taylor. These artists have an appeal to my heart and soul.
Books are varied wildly from financial management to Tom Clancy to inspirational. I'm getting back into Ayn Rand and a favorite book that I can remember was 'My Name is Asher Lev' by Chaim Potak.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trajectoire, a piece performed by Diavolo Dance Theater. The most powerful 30 minutes of dance I've seen describing something so abstract as human emotion. The piece is set on a '21st century galleon' and is breath taking in every possible way.
Teach, Learn, Share
When doing a standing back tuck (at your own risk and with a qualified instructor), remember to fully reach upward with the throw of your arms. This coincides simultaneously with your upward jump. Spot forward and don't throw your head back. Think shins over your head and time your opening to land on your feet. Short version, jump up, throwing your arms up, get your shins over your head, and time your opening to land on your feet.
