CURRENT MISSION

What I love is to meet people from all over the world and offer them hospitality. And I would love to be hosted in thos way myzelf too, when I am abroad. I like to travel alone or with my sons (11, 13). The experience being with someone is great.

ABOUT ME

All about me? Most important is that I consider life as meaningfull, as a matter of learning how to become more and more yourself. Consiousness and the knowledge of the heart are crucial, as to have an open mind. I tend to be a little bit serious, and to work to hard, but travelling helps me to open my heart, to get inspired etc. I have two sons how are very important to me. I work at www.devoorde.nl as a trainer.

PHILOSOPHY

To make love possible on this planet, by increasing awareness/consiousness and developping the heart.
I believe that people are good, although we hurt eachother and a lot goes wrong because of people acting out of fear.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On a few occasions I stayed on someones couch. I remember when I was 19 years old, and had an accident with a moterbike in Greece. The man who came to collect my bike offered me a couch in his place, with was very friendly for I was in a shock, and had no money.

When I was a student in Leuven (Belgium) I had someone on my couch, I mean from Ireland who travelled and was a wood-turner.
