About Me
I'm looking into living in Denver while working construction beginning September 1st, 2015. My dog Romeo is my sidekick. I grew up in Lafayette Louisiana where my family has a construction business and Airbnb called the Treehouse Guesthouse. I built the 440 sq ft treehouse, so if you are couch surfing, I can offer to host you in the treehouse in Louisiana.
I recently lived in New Orleans and worked as a site supervisor for Habitat for Humanity. I loved the opportunity to be part of an organization where I could use my building trade skills to train volunteers and provide housing for families. My dog and faithfull companion Romeo was the Habitat mascot and was at construction sites every day to do his job of being playful. We travel as a team. We are both very respectful and good at making new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to meet people and travel in an area where I don't know anyone yet. I am traveling with my truck and construction tools, so I am looking for a place that has safe parking. Romeo can stay in the truck if needed. He is a 5 year old neutered male with a very loving nature and he gets along well with other animals and children and especially with anyone who likes to throw a ball or frisbee.
I am wanting to couch surf for a couple of weeks while I connect to construction work. I am willing to help with projects in exchange for your hospitality.
After I get established with working, I want to explore other areas of Colorado. Having lived in Louisiana, I an excited about the Rocky Mountains, new adventures and new friends
