About Me

Full of stupid tattoos, pop culture trivia and bad puns.
Leaning left, feminist, bit queer but still a white Cisneros male so doing my best.
Australian, but not in the racist way... in the fun way where I am fun when drunk and fluent in sarcasm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste ranges wildly from early blues, rockabilly, swing all the way through Bowie and classic rock to cheesy 80s dance floor fillers, disco and funk to early punk and into late 90s skate punk an drew into the secret shame of MySpace heyday emo. Occasionally I remember that people are still making music because sometimes I forget that stuff happened after the mid 2000s

I used to work at a video store... when they were a thing. So if I haven't seen your favourite movie, I probably know what's the cover looks like and know enough about it that I can fool you into thinking I have. Encyclopaedic knowledge of film here so my favourite genres are film noir, 80's Italian horror (Giallo) and spaghetti westerns, films about inanimate objects coming to life and movies where robots learn what it means to be human and maybe... just maybe teach humans a little bit about that topic too.

Books! Love me a good mystery, big into x-men comics, love Neil gaiman, Neil Stevenson and currently smashing my way through Terry pratchetts discworld

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't want to brag or nothing...
Well I do, but I don't want to spoil any of my amazing stories in a bio

Teach, Learn, Share

I have 3/4 of a teaching degree so I can teach you 3/4 of something

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook. The thing I hate about travelling is inaccessibility of a kitchen. If there is no place to stay can i just borrow your kitchen to make us dinner.
