I'm a pretty chill guy, and I try to live in the present moment and place, enjoying whatever is around me, discovering things and connecting with people. People often say I'm a good listener and I've come to believe so; an aspect which, I believe, increasingly rewards me with satisfaction and interest when connecting with people.

I enjoy knowing people, places, stories, points of view, systems, religions, foods, rituals, myths, bands, ways. I believe life is about experiencing, and I try to open myself to this as much as I can, always. Respect and empathy are values I try hard to cultivate.

I have lived for a year in both Australia and in Spain, besides having traveled around Europe a bit. These experiences have given me much in my life, so traveling has become something I love to do.

I like getting to meet new people and share stories, going out, seeing new places and learning about cultures and life, having a beer/coffee/tea, walking around the city, visiting museums, attending concerts and events etc.
I'm here to get to know people and places and experience things beyond "my plans" :)

I have a special interest in fiction - short stories, novels, movies, short films. Some of my favorite authors are Gabriel García Márquez, Edgar Allan Poe, Clarice Lispector, José Saramago, Dostoyevsky.
Lately I've also had some interest in reading history/philosophy books.
I like movies with deep stories, usually dramas, science-fictions or animations, but I do enjoy other genres sometimes. I'm into movies that stimulate critical thinking, related to topics like human interactions, the "duality" of existence, philosophy, nature, politics etc.

Discussing about these stories and life itself is one of my favorite things: perspectives, meanings, social aspects, art and so on.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Maybe living in Australia and in Spain, for a year each, have been some of the best things in my life. Experiencing life away from the familiar things and people is something amazing, and then getting to know these different environments, cultures, social circumstances and so on.

I really like English and Portuguese, so perhaps we can practice one of these languages, if that interests you. (I've taught English for a few months and I love doing it)

I can share whatever experiences I have, I love to discuss topics of life in general, and more specifically the mind, social problems, art, science etc.

I can also help around the house, I would love to do so. I am very stimulated when I feel useful and, on the other hand, I feel anxious and bothered when I don't do much.

Perhaps some of the topics I can bring up to conversations: living abroad, yoga, healthy diets, science & engineering topics, knowledge on Portuguese and Spanish.
I love practicing yoga and have been doing it for a while, we can share tips and practice together :)
