Ever since I discovered couchsurfing from meeting people from its community in France, I really appreciated the spirit it conveys, which I would simply define in believing that people can share their way of life and point of view in the most simple way there can be.

I stayed 1 month and a half in Lifou (New-Caledonia) living inside a tribe. Their way of life really struck me as I was coming straight from New-York and I don't see the world with the same eyes ever since!
