After a recent experience in the Indian Church Village in Belize, I quickly realized that traveling is a must for me while still an option. I am American, however I'd say one who is grounded, less entitled, and able to leave my "American Lens" at home when I travel. I want to assimilate into the country and culture that I visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because when traveling I enjoy becoming the culture that I am visiting. So therefore why would I ever want to seclude myself in a hotel surrounding myself with all my material things that are really just there to create "home" wherever I go. I leave home at home and embark on adventures :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played professional Baseball. Saved a life as a lifeguard. Traveled to Belize to work with the school in a small village in the Jungle near the Mayan Temples.
