About Me

What's up guys, I'm 100% new to this app/site. My names Ross, I was homeless for eight months last year in San Antonio, and it taught me how to see it as being a nomad, no one could ever have guessed I was a homeless man in public, and I even scored a full time job to save a shit ton of money, and I grew to love it. I've been back on the road for about a month now, and it's been amazing so far, I've stayed with a lot of people flying traveling signs. It's been beautiful. I'm in a process of my life, of shedding a lot of the self that's manifested over the years, I realized that I'm not the person everyone grew up with, that were all changing every second of everyday. People back home in wv can't handle talk like that, I've grown up isolated in a very close minded place. I've spent the last two years educating myself towards, ripping off society, religious doctrines, and heading toward liberation, and growing the mind to a higher plain. Even being homeless isn't liberation, it's hard work haha. I've created an account on here in case of emergencies, in case I get stuck in a rough place and there may be someone out there who could come in clutch saving me from my path ending. I have food stamps! Haha and I'm vegan, but don't boast or tell anyone about it, I just live and let live. If ever the chance of staying with someone, I'm making us a feast to celebrate. And if you eat meat, Ima include it on your plate. I'm humble, and I have absolutely no addictions to anything. Peace and love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Again, just for emergencies, I love people, I love nature, if I know I'm safe for the night, I'm definitely gonna build a little fire, and hang my hammock up.

Interests

Thinking less and feeling more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is everywhere, my favorite is probably hardcore, stuff like Stick to your guns, currents, counterparts, fit for a king, knocked loose, story so far, terror, Gideon, the ghost inside. I also love rock, alternative, oldies hip hop, and funk. Movies, I dig eighties horror, definitely my favorite. Also comedies, and documentaries, like DMT the spirit molecule, Dying To Know, Happy, What the Health, Zeitgeist, 10 questions for the Dali lama, anything spiritual, about our health, or the truth. Books, definitely Be Here Now. It changed my life. Also I Am That, Mans search for meaning, Think and Grow Rich, some Dali shit and other artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a friends life from passing away once, a military press crushed his head, and I carried him to an EMTs house next door and got him choppered out about five minutes before he could have went.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach about gardening, I raised gardens from age 12 to 22. And some things about seeing through the material world, the fabricated veil of reality we can't see past. I'd like to learn more about Buddhism, and psychedelics, and self love. I love to share laughs man, it's fun laughing with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I have a little bit of money, which is rare I can share some beers, I have food stamps to cook and snack out with, I can share inspiration, and some really odd stories haha.

Countries I’ve Visited
