ABOUT ME

I'm an optimist. The world is such a beautiful place full of incredible people and amazing experiences to be had. I take pleasure in the simple things, conversations about nothing in particular, warm blankets on a cold night, playing lava-tag. My engineering background forces me to make sense of everything, but so many things in the world are beyond understanding. I don't like making specific plans, I'd much rather show up in a cool place and see what happens. Lately I've been trying to slow down and meditate whenever I get a chance.

I'm into just about anything musical, but my current obsessions are electronic stuff like Bonobo, Bassnectar, Odesza and then acoustic stuff like Bright Eyes and the Tallest Man on Earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I won a spelling bee in grade 5.

More amazing than that? I got to see a space shuttle launch. The ground rumbling like an earthquake, a torch bright as the sun on the horizon, and four people sitting on top of a million pounds of steel and rocket fuel rising into the sky until they make it to outer space. Outer space!
