About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, Meeting, Exploring

ABOUT ME

I just finished assisting an actor on Broadway in New York, which was grueling but rewarding, and am now looking to unwind with 2 months of international movement, which I've never quite undertaken before. Over the past few years, I've enjoyed working in an array of arts in NYC, including the theatre, TV, film, some commercial (less enjoyable), and writing. Two of my favorite things are reading and writing. I also enjoy a good exploration when time permits (as it does now). I am vegetarian, and I don't drink, but I love people who do. I love walking and biking, and am more than happy to hike long distances just to see something that is highly recommended (and would love company, if it's there)

I'm currently traveling with no cell phone data, so using VIBER and WHATSAPP, but I don't have regular internet. I'm embracing the challenge of less phone in my life and promise it will not be an inconvenience.

I've only couch surfed in the US and Canada. Apologies if my profile is a bit sparse. I'd like to rectify this. Kind, courteous, caring, self-reliant (Except for the couch).

PHILOSOPHY

To love & to be loved

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to meet people on my travels who are willing to put up a stranger, and as curious to get to know someone from far away as I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed a bit in the USA. Years ago, I hosted people at a house in Portland, OR, but that account might be long gone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the sky in west Texas while driving it over the course of a long day, and it's the biggest and most beautiful sky I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

My first job was going door to door for Sierra Club when I was 18. There was an eccentric older gentleman who did a great job (unlike me) and was a bottomless fountain of supposed facts. Two things he said, which I have yet to properly research for myself:

1) Icelandic bananas are delicious, and more common than you'd think.
2) Damascus was a place with great armor, because Damascus steel was the greatest on Earth.

Spread the word.
