ABOUT ME

We are a married couple (an Irish guy and an Aussie girl) completely addicted to travel and all the experiences it has to offer. We never shy away from meeting new people and trying new things.

She works in advertising and he is an Architect (with a furniture business on the side www.sawdustbureau.com

After spending 9 months driving across Africa in our trusty 4x4 we set ourselves a challenge; namely roadtripping coast to coast across America using only couchsurfing/friends/friends of friends as a means of accommodation. We managed Boston-LA in 6 weeks with only 3 couchfails! What an experience it was.

We are a pretty easygoing couple and can get along with almost anyone. Love hearing and sharing travel experiences over a coffee or a pint.

We are keeping a blog which we are hoping to publish into a book, to promote couchsurfing as an alternative to the usual hostels/hotels travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a couch on a trip to Iceland and then the whole way across America. Some great experiences with some fabulous hosts!
