I grew up in Maryland, USA and worked for ten years in accounting. After taking trips here and there I am excited to take some time away from the 9-5 to explore the world. I am starting with a TEFL course in March 2015 in Chiang Mai, Thailand then going from there with my wife, Beth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After using Air BnB for travels in the United States and Canada I am excited to try Couchsurfing internationally. Some of my favor travel bloggers have recommended Couchsurfing. If Couchsurfing works for me then I hope to give back in the future.

My ability to communicate and have gratitude for acts of kindness are likely of interest. I earned my CPA and a Master's in Finance and Accounting so I have financial skills to offer. I did job training for two years so I learned instruction skills. Looking forward to having my TEFL certificate in March 2015 to teach English. Hope to use work exchange as an opportunity to better experience the locations I visit, give back, and extend my travels for as long as possible.
